Abundance

Why does the world experience poverty when there is more than enough of everything for everyone?

Perhaps the answer is so simple, we overlook it while seeking a more complex answer.  Scarcity is a concept that has been promoted through the ages until it has come to be believed by the general population.  The concept of abundance is slowly spreading throughout the world.  One day soon, everyone will come to accept it and we will all begin to experience it.

Here is an interesting insight from Teresa Romain:

"It seems to me that when a person is surprised, excited or even delighted when abundance appears in his/her life, it reveals that, at some level, that person did not EXPECT abundance.  Surprise, excitement and even delight are not the same as gratitude.   To be grateful WHEN abundance enter's one's life is an appropriate response that supports abundance.  To be surprised, delighted or excited AT THE MANNER in which abundance is made manifest in one's life is also an appropriate and abundant response.  I repeat, however, that to be surprised or excited BY THE FACT THAT ABUNDANCE HAS OCCURRED in one's life reveals an underlying doubt in oneself, one's actions, the process of abundance and/or the Ultimate Source of Abundance.

 "If a person engages in the process of abundance without FULLY EXPECTING that abundance, such a person falls prey to the scarcity pattern of simply going through the motions, i.e., doing for the doing, action for the sake of action."
